Location and historical significance

Hampi, once the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, is located along the banks of the Tungabhadra River. Its landscape, dotted with boulders, temples, and ruins, is a harmonious blend of history and nature. The remnants of its grandeur reflect a culture that valued art, architecture, and spirituality, making it an iconic destination for photographers and history enthusiasts alike.

Architectural marvels and cultural heritage

Hampi’s temples and monuments are a testament to the empire's architectural brilliance. From the intricately carved Vittala Temple with its iconic stone chariot to the majestic Virupaksha Temple, the Lotus Mahal, Elephants’ Stable, Queen’s bath, each structure is a masterpiece. Beyond its architecture, Hampi resonates with cultural richness, offering glimpses into traditions, festivals, and local life that continue to thrive amidst the ruins.
